Located in a scenic neighbourhood on the eastern side of campus, the University of Alberta’s Alder House residence provides on-campus residence housing in a co-ed community. Residents are able to foster relationships with other students and access knowledgeable upper-year students, all while living minutes from campus.

Alder House offers modern, fully furnished rooms, a community kitchen and living space where you will spend time with your neighbours. You won’t have to worry about purchasing or moving heavy furniture and our term leases give you peace of mind about your home in residence.

Units are fully furnished with a Twin XL bed, dresser and study desk with chair in each bedroom. Common areas are furnished. You will have to bring your own cooking equipment, linens, etc.

Eastern Ascent

Eastern Ascent is the Residence Services upper-year student orientation program specifically designed for students living in our East Campus residences. Eastern Ascent was implemented to enable residents to become comfortable in their new living environment, develop peer connections and become better oriented to the Edmonton community and campus.
