In late February, Dr. Margaret Mackey headed to the University of Calgary's beautiful new Taylor Family Digital Library to participate in an Interactive Media Symposium on the subject of "Scholarship, Learning and the Digital Video Game." She made a presentation on the topic of "Games and Other Fictional Universes: Narrative Experiences" to a gathering of librarians, academics, game developers, and other interested parties. SLIS alumni Jerremie Clyde and Leeanne Morrow, who both work in the University of Calgary Library, were active in organizing this symposium.
