SLIS Student Nicole Dalmer Wins Two Awards

Nicole has just received both the CLA Student Article Award as well as the Myer Horowitz Graduate Student Travel Award.

Our congratulations go to one of SLIS's students, Nicole Dalmer, who has won two awards recently.

She has won is the CLA's 29th Student Article Award. Nicole's paper entitled "Women in Archives: Present Contexts and Future Implications" has been described as a "well written" paper "on a fresh topic" which is "very interesting and readable" (see link above).

Nicole's paper is to be published in the upcoming issue of Feliciter, a magazine published by the CLA, and she is to be awarded $200 in CLA/ALA publications (see link above).

Nicole is also the winner of the Myer Horowitz Graduate Student Travel Award. The award is valued at $500.00.
