The 2019-2020 Gilead Lecture in Organic Chemistry took place on November 4. Professor James Morken, from Boston College, delivered an inspiring lecture on the topic of stereoselective organoboron methodology.
Along with the lecture, the 2019 Gilead Alberta Graduate Award of Excellence in Organic Chemistry was presented to Jason Rygus (Hall Group). The award was presented by Prof. Rik Tykwinski, Department Chair, and Dr. Ho-Yan Sun, representing Gilead Alberta.
