Degree program: MSc., University of British Columbia
Supervisor: Kelly Russell

My project will be focused on xenolith transport in kimberlites from the deep mantle. I will be primarily working with olivine to determine and mechanics and dynamics of xenolith ascent. My undergraduate research involved using pyroxene barometry to determine the pre-eruptive storage and evolution of magmas from two cinder cones in the Lassen Volcanic National Park area. Most recently I worked as an intern for Ormat Technologies, assisting the resource team in finding new sites for geothermal power plants, as well as conducting a research project on low temperature clay alteration.
