Introductory Professional Term

Students registering for the first student teaching term, referred to as the Introductory Professional Term (IPT), are required to take an EDSE curriculum and instruction course in the major subject area which is offered at the 300-level.

The IPT is comprised of the following courses:

  • EDFX 350 (*6)
  • EDPY 303 (*3)
  • EDSE 307 (*3)
  • EDSE 3XX (major) (*3)

Students are also required to take an EDSE curriculum and instruction course in the minor subject area which is offered at the 300-level.
