We are committed to providing a wide range of professional, friendly and compassionate medical services to students and staff at the University of Alberta. All of our services are strictly confidential.
Please note that in keeping with our goal to provide the best patient experience possible, the University Health Centre will be implementing new a medical record system effective May 30, 2016. Patients may experience longer then normal wait times as our physician and nursing staff transition to the new system.

Most of our services operate on a walk-in basis. When walking in, have your ONEcard and proof of provincial health insurance coverage. Health faculty immunizations, obstetrics and gynecology and nutrition consultations are booked by appointment only. Call to book an appointment.
Who Has Access to the UHC?
- Full time students, including their immediate* family members
- Part time and open studies students, including their immediate* family members
- Academic and non-academic staff
*Immediate family members include your spouse, partner and your children. This does not include parents or siblings.
