2009 Bill Meloff Memorial Teaching Award
The 2009 Bill Meloff Memorial Teaching Award was presented to Dr Alison Dunwoody, a talented and dedicated undergraduate instructor. Dr Dunwoody officially received the award on Thursday, September 17 at the Department of Sociology annual Fall Welcome. The winner of the award receives $1000 which she or he can redirect towards some aspect of the department's teaching mission. Dr Dunwoody chose to create two one-time scholarships of $500 each for undergradute students from our department who entered our MA program this fall.
