General Athletic Training

All Green & Gold Athlete Academy student-athletes also benefit from the general athletic training made possible by our AIM Program. This innovative program incorporates three key components: sport conditioning, multi-sport involvement, and mental training.

The sport conditioning component of our AIM Program focuses on building all aspects of athletic fitness, including agility, balance, coordination, strength, power, speed, endurance, flexibility, and mobility. The multi-sport component focuses on building athleticism through involvement in at least one of our Late-Entry Sports each week, and in the process creates viable competitive options for the future. Finally, the mental training component is embedded into the physical training and multi-sport components, and focuses on developing key psycho-social skills like goal setting, imagery, activation control, self-talk, focus, teamwork, and leadership.
