Green & Gold Sport Camps 2018
REGISTER NOW, SPACES FILLING FAST!
Welcome to the 2018 edition of our Green & Gold Sport Camps, which provide participants with a fun-filled and memorable developmental experience in the home of the Golden Bears and Pandas! Green & Gold Sport Camps offer an ideal blend of sport-specific and general athletic development. The sport-specific component has been designed in conjunction with our University of Alberta head coaches, and is consistent with the guidelines of each sport’s Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) framework.
The general athletic component is delivered through our innovative AIM Program, which combines a variety of age-appropriate physical and mental activities with carefully selected multi-sport experiences. This makes it possible for participants to build a strong general athletic foundation to support their sport-specific development. By incorporating these components, our Green & Gold Sport Camps give participants a unique opportunity to develop their skills, and to have a great time in the process!
New Registration System
The University of Alberta is launching a new and improved way to browse, register and pay for recreational programming, including our Summer Camps! The new ActivityReg website will be launched on Monday, June 11, 2018.
Please note: all our registration and payment services will be down from May 20 to 22, 2018. This includes all online, in-person and over-the-phone services. You will not be able to register your child(ren) in our Summer Camps during this full-service blackout. The blackout period is necessary to accommodate the migration of all services to the new website.
From May 23 to June 10, 2018, the ActivityReg website will have limited access as we populate the new website with all our great programming. During this time, parents can call the Customer Service Centre at 780-492-2231 to reserve a spot in their desired camp(s). The balance on account can be paid in-person or over the phone during the online blackout period.
For more information and to check out the FAQs, visit the Campus & Community Recreation website.
