Good day St. Joseph's College community,

As many of you will know, formal review processes for Fr. Terry Kersch, csb, President, and Dr. Brian Maraj, Academic Dean were recently conducted in line with the the St. Joseph's College Policies and Procedures Manual. The review processes were initiated as both of their initial five-year terms were to end in June, 2016. Both gentlemen chose to stand for renewal in their respective positions.

Feedback was requested from faculty, staff, board members, students, the worshipping community and the broader University community; there was also an open invitation on the College website for additional input. Many of you chose to participate in these important processes and for this I thank you.

The Board of Governors met on Wednesday, December 9th to consider and discuss feedback received from each review process.

On behalf of the St. Joseph's College Board of Governors, it is my pleasure to formally announce that the Board has approved an additional five-year term for both Fr. Terry Kersch and Dr. Brian Maraj beginning July 1, 2016.

We are privileged to have their leadership at the College and we are confident in the creativity, energy and commitment that will continue to characterize their work in the years ahead. May you be blessed with peace, hope and joy this Advent and Christmas.

Regards,
Kevin Feehan, QC
Vice-Chair, Board of Governors of St. Joseph's College
