Students will spend a week at Instituto Nuestra Señora de la Asunción in Cali Colombia. Alongside local Colombian lay-persons, they will participate in the life and work of the Basilian Fathers whose role is to provide for the human, spiritual, and educational needs of the most impoverished urban populations of that country. The parish school serves the primary grades through high school. Although located in one of the most impoverished areas of Cali, it has become one of the most outstanding schools in its state where many students have continued to post-secondary education.
