Chancellors' Challenge
This Fall, support Mental Health Education for All People by taking part in our first ever Chancellors' Challenge. Thanks to the generosity of Colm and Lynda O'Carroll, Co-Chancellors of St. Stephen's, all donations to the College between October and December 2020 will be matched up to $20,000!
Opportunities to participate include online silent auctions, monthly Sneak Peek classes at St. Steve's, and sponsorship of a St. Stephen's board member as she runs 100 miles for Mental Health Education. Support Mental Health Education for All People
Our theme of Supporting Mental Health Education for All People is rooted directly in the educational endeavours of St. Stephen's College. Mental Health Education is central to so much of the academic programming at St. Steve's. Students in our Master of Psychotherapy and Spirituality programs train to become counsellors and/or Art Therapists who practice within a spiritually-integrated framework. Similarly, many students in our Theology programs are preparing for vocations in the Spiritual Care field (a form of ministry practice that falls within the mental health profession more broadly). Undergirding all of our programs is the strong conviction that Education is for All People. St. Stephen's is a diverse community made of individuals from across cultures, ethnicities, faith tradition, and worldviews.
