Golden Scalpel Award

Congratulations to Dr. Jenna-Lynn Senger, PhD candidate and plastic surgery resident, for receiving the inaugural Canadian Association of Chairs of Surgical Research Golden Scalpel Research Award. It recognizes the top trainee research abstract and presentation at the CACSR Conference session. Dr. Senger was one of several Canadian surgery departments' research day award recipients at the Canadian Surgery Forum in St. John's, Newfoundland. Dr. Colin Anderson, Director of Division of Surgical Research says, "It is great to have Jenna-Lynn, and the University of Alberta, be the first winner of this award."
