Support includes “Introduction to Systematic Review” searching course, consultations and databases.

The John W. Scott Health Sciences Library works closely with the Department of Surgery, supporting research and providing instruction in Library Resources and Services.

It provides a suite of databases for literature review and an introductory searching session that helps researchers build their search skills and techniques in databases such as Medline, EMBASE, SCOPUS and others. The library offers search consultations to help students, residents.

It also has an asynchronous course called an Introduction to Systematic Review searching. This is a step-by-step 14 module course that is open access, so researchers can access it at any time from any place.
