The Campus Sustainability Leaders Awards recognize outstanding individuals and groups for their efforts to build a socially, environmentally and economically sustainable world. These winners are leading the way in how the University of Alberta operates, the services we provide, the way we teach, and strengthening the fabric of campus life.

2024 Award Winners
The 2024 Michael Rawson Clark Award winners were:
- Heba Mahmood, a fourth-year undergraduate student, double majoring in biology and psychology.
- Kairandeep Kaur Dhillon, a fourth-year student majoring in psychology and minoring in biological sciences with a certificate in sustainability.
- Tianna Tanasichuk, a fifth-year student in mathematics and biological science, with a certificate in sustainability.
Professor and staff awards
- Sarah Pelletier, the Director of the Science Teaching Labs at Campus Saint-Jean.
- Matt Kingston, an instructor and Research Assistant at the Alberta School of Business.
- The Climate Change and Global Health Education Team develops evidence-based lessons and hands-on activities about climate change and health for Edmonton students.
Green Spaces
- the Undergraduate Cell Biology Students’ Association, a student group operating a Gold-certified office space.
