The Cooling Plant on Campus (CPOC) is unusually public for an industrial building. The plant sits beside a busy teaching and research facility, a large performing arts complex, a residence that houses 1,600 students, and a busy LRT station.
Part of the university’s district energy system, CPOC is one of the university’s greenest buildings. Site planning, energy efficiency, water conservation and more make CPOC a LEED® Gold certified building.
