About Us

Located in Cameron Library at the heart of the University of Alberta campus, the Technology Training Centre has been providing software training to people and businesses across Canada since 1997. With over 50 unique courses covering Microsoft, Adobe, Google Suite, Cascade, design principles and more, we have something for everyone!

Our expert instructors have real-world experience working with the programs they teach, and share the tips and tricks they've learned over the years with you in a hands-on learning environment.

Our classes are open to everyone - you don't have to be a University of Alberta student or staff member to enrol.

Discounts

  • Full time University of Alberta students with a valid student OneCard receive 25% off full day courses.
  • All Government of Alberta and Government of Canada employees receive a 25% discount on full day computer application courses.
  • Select GoA employee or Government of Canada when registering. Participants must register with their government email address to qualify for the discount.
  • University of Alberta Alumni with a Alumni OneCard qualify for a 25% discount off full day courses.

Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF)

Most TTC classes are eligible for HRDF reimbursement, a benefit provided to non-academic staff members. For eligibility, application requirements and deadlines, please visit the HRDF page.

Canada-Alberta Job Grant

The Canada-Alberta Job Grant is a training initiative designed to help organizations and employees engage in new training programs. The grant covers up to 2/3rd of the total cost of training, to a maximum of $10,000 per employee and $300,000 per organization.
