The University of Alberta has begun the search for the next Vice-Provost (Learning Services) and Chief Librarian. The success of a selection process relies on a consultative approach, with feedback and input from staff and key stakeholders of the Unit. As such, we invite members from the community that are served by Learning Services to share in the opportunity of selecting the Vice-Provost (Learning Services) and Chief Librarian.

A Town Hall has been arranged to begin the selection process. At the Town Hall, members of the community will be introduced to the selection committee, receive information about the process and learn about how to get involved in this important endeavor.

Date: Wednesday, November 8, 2017

Location: Council Chambers, 2–100 University Hall

Time: Noon — 1:00 p.m.

The selection of a Vice-Provost and Chief Librarian is vital to the success of the Unit and your participation in this process is important. There will be an opportunity for you to raise any questions or comments you may have regarding the selection process. I encourage you to attend this event.
