The route is wheelchair accessible and an ASL interpreter will be available for the introductions. We highly encourage diversity and the attendance of other groups.

The parade will take place over the noon-hour on Wednesday March 14, starting at the CCIS lobby and ending at the Van Vliet Centre

We need both participants and volunteers, and we hope that you'll consider either walking in the parade or volunteering to help in another way. Workplace teams, departments, other groups, and individuals are all welcome in the parade.

We encourage everyone to participate!

The Non-Academic Staff Association (NASA) has donated staff time to organize the event. Please feel free to contact the organizer if you have questions: Nicholas Ternes

Staging (11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.)

Help to greet, organize and provide information to participants as they arrive at the staging area at CCIS.

Parade Marshalls/Guides (12:10 p.m. - 12:45 p.m.)

Join the volunteers from Safewalk to help guide/direct the parade across campus.

Parade Cheer (12:10 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.)

We are looking for volunteers who can help keep energy levels up during the parade. Drag performers, musical performers, and folks carrying flags and banners really help to show off just how fabulous the parade really is. Help us keep the energy levels up and keep folks cheering!

Parade Evaluation (After Parade - approx. 12:45 p.m. - TBD)

Listening to participants and other people on campus and getting their feedback is critical to improving the event in future years. Help by asking some simple, direct questions and collect feedback for next year's parade.

Runners and other odd jobs (12:00-12:45 p.m.)

Just want to help and don't really care what you're doing? We need some flexible volunteers to help with unexpected last minute tasks that may arise and to help fill in volunteer cancellations.
