Representatives of Risk Management Services, Facilities and Operations and Protective Services attended a forum to discuss security concerns in the Fine Arts Building on April 11, 2018.

This summer a working group led by Risk Management Services and Facilities and Operations is reviewing safety and security across the University of Alberta.

The working group, which includes representatives of UAPS and EHS, as well as faculties and the staff and student associations, will present a report with findings and recommendations to university administration this fall.

A critical part of this work involves gaining a better understanding of the experience of members of the university community. To achieve this, the working group is asking all staff and students to take a few minutes to complete an online survey.

The responses will help inform the working group’s recommendations and provide a baseline for the university to track the success of any initiatives that come out of the review.
