Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada Conference 2017


With MacEwan University and the King’s University, the University of Alberta is proud to host the 30th anniversary meeting of the Senior Women’s Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC) Conference in Edmonton. The 2017 conference will explore how leading with integrity and vision can result in big leaps forward for individuals and the institutions they serve.

When?

The conference will begin with an opening reception and keynote speaker on Thursday, April 27 at 6 pm and will conclude at noon on April 29.

What?

The 2017 SWAAC program includes a lively mix of keynote speakers, panel discussions, concurrent sessions, and networking social events. There will also be ample time to meet new colleagues or catch up with old friends at the opening reception on Thursday evening and gala dinner on Friday.

Where?

The opening reception will take place on the University of Alberta’s north campus. All other events will be located at the Westin Hotel in downtown Edmonton. For more information on accommodations at the Westin, please see the sidebar.

Conference Fees?

The 2017 SWAAC Conference is open to all, both members and non-members. The conference fee includes all meals and refreshment breaks.
