Here are the key U of A for Tomorrow updates from this week:

College Town Halls

In the first week of October, the three college deans will be hosting town halls via Zoom to provide more detail on the roles and responsibilities of the colleges, share progress to date and introduce new college staff. Please see the event listing relevant to your college for details and to register:

Travel and expense claim processing pause/freeze

As previously communicated, the Procurement team has redesigned the review and approval process for Travel & Expense and PER to streamline the current process, reduce complexity, and minimize cost. This new process will be implemented on October 18. All travel, expense and professional expense claims will route to Shared Services for review and approval. To prepare for this implementation, the Centre of Expertise and Shared Services ask for users submitting, reviewing and approving travel, expense and PER claims to be aware of the following pause/freeze dates occurring in October.

UAT Pulse survey reminder

UAT Pulse surveys are sent out monthly to 700 randomly-selected faculty and staff from across the institution. If you received one last week, please take 5-10 minutes to share your thoughts. Feedback shared is both anonymous and confidential (responses will only be shared as aggregated data). Surveys remain open until 11:59 p.m. tonight (Wednesday, September 29). If you didn't receive a survey this round, there are still ways to share your feedback and ask questions, so be sure to check out the UAT website's consultation page.
