HR completes several process improvements
Over the past 16 months, the HR workstream and several teams within the Human Resources, Health, Safety and Environment (HRHSE) unit have collaborated to restructure and reorganize HR services. Learn how the teams have redesigned a number of key processes to improve administrative efficiencies including time and labour, job design and evaluation, and introducing new onboarding resources.
New event management software solution available in January 2022
With the completion of the Event Management Task Force at the beginning of November, a final report was prepared by Procurement and Contract Management (PCM) and presented to the Service Excellence Steering Committee (SESC) on November 24. Approval has been given to proceed with implementation of the software solution, Groupize, beginning in January 2022.
A new direction for Procurement & Contract Management
The SET Procurement team has been tasked with reviewing and redesigning the expenditure strategy for goods and services across the university. This includes a review of current U of A purchasing practices which have been grouped together under the category of Foundational Procurement.
