Real Estate Services advises U of A how to best manage its real estate assets. We acquire and divest of land and buildings, and manage property rentals and leases. Our extensive services support U of A's vision and long-range plans.
What we do
Property management
- Manage university-occupied properties
- Manage university-owned properties occupied by third parties
- Manage select income-producing ancillary properties
- Oversee property taxes for university-owned and university-occupied properties
Transactions
- Manage university real estate acquisitions and dispositions
- Gain board approvals, resolutions and Orders in Council for real estate transactions
Planning
- We coordinate with the appropriate teams to support the university's Long Range Development Plan
- Develop, consolidate and subdivide university land
- Help investigate and carry out real-estate-related strategic plans
