Safety Codes

University of Alberta is proud to be an accredited corporation under the Safety Codes Council. The Safety Codes Council works with organizations across the province to make Alberta a safe place to live, work and play.

Under the Safety Codes Act, the university preserves the integrity of Alberta's safety code system. We are accredited in each of the Safety Code Council's five disciplines: building, fire, electrical, plumbing and natural gas.
