The Vice-President (Finance and Administration) portfolio consists of six key administrative units that support the academic and research goals of the University:
Responsible for: all accounting, financial reporting, audited financial statements, treasury, investments and accounts receivables. Financial Services also provides integrated finance services support for all faculties and central services units.
Human Resource Services
Responsible for human resource services including: recruitment, retention, payroll and benefits, job evaluation, health and wellness, and staff learning and development.
Information Systems and Technology
Responsible for all IT services including enterprise solutions (including BearTracks and PeopleSoft), CCID password resets, email and apps, mobile and desktop phones, university wireless system and e-learning, among many others.
Responsible for implementing and overseeing the university's integrated planning process, prepares and administers the institutional budgets and conducts financial analysis and forecasting.
Responsible for: emergency management, environment, health and safety, insurance and risk assessment, protective services and the policy standards office.
Audit and Analysis
Responsible for Internal Audit Services, Safe Disclosure and Human Rights, Helping Individuals at Risk, Quality Management in Clinical Research and the Strategic Analysis Office (which produces the Annual Report and houses the Data Warehouse).
Supply Management Services
Responsible for procurement and contract management (including preferred suppliers), payment services, distribution, customs, travel management.
