The results for the annual Women's Studies department scholarships have been announced for the 2007/2008 academic year.

The winner of the University of Alberta Academic Women's Association's Award in Women's Studies was granted to Elzbieta Przybylo. The award is based on satisfactory academic standing, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 in five single-term Women's Studies or cross-listed courses.

Awarded to a graduating student with the highest GPA on a full normal course load, the Helga Dalman Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Ariel Bowering.

The Hadassah-WIZO Canada Award in Women's Studies is awarded to two students, and is based on high academic achievement and financial need. It was awarded to Katherine Mazurok and Stephanie Laskoski.

The final award, the Olga Hunchak Memorial Bursary, is awarded to one student on the basis of satisfactory academic achievement and financial need. The recipient this year was Cole Caljouw.
