Eric Chan
Bio: My name is Eric Chan and my research interests are centered around exploring how non-normative bodies are regulated, controlled, disciplined and surveilled in the healthcare system.
Furthermore, I am interested in how it might be possible to disrupt the hierarchical relations of power that reinforce the subordination of marginalized communities by exploring options for resistance through policy, community investment, or day to day actions. When I'm not reading I'm likely outside running or in the kitchen cooking up something yummy!
