Segment Finding in the CTD Second Level

Abstract
An algorithm has been proposed for segment finding in the CTD second level trigger. Results are presented for the efficiency and timing of the algorithm. Segment finding in a single-cell mask is found to be efficient and would entail little communication overheads in the CTD read-out system.
