The part of the cerebrum lying under the frontal bone of the forehead. The central sulcus marks the posterior border of the frontal lobe. 

The part of the cerebrum posterior to the central sulcus lying under the parietal bone. 

The part of the cerebrum lying under the temporal bone (temple) of the skull. The temporal lobes are anterior to the occipital lobes and lateral to the Fissure of Sylvius. 

The part of the cerebrum caudal to the parietal lobe and posterior to the temporal lobe lying under the occipital bone.
