Academic Background : 2012-2016 Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada.
Research & Industrial experience : 2015/06 – 2015/09 - Engineering Assistant with Sinopacific Offshore and Engineering , Shanghai, China. Involved in three LPG ship-building projects with gas tank installation and vassal construction. Assisted with the design of LPG and LEG gas tanks for the ship by using software AutoCAD and Tribon to ensure the safety operation of the tank during the transpiration. Assisted with the design of pipelines on the ship including all the pipes and valves for fluid intake and discharge. Model simulation of LPG/LEG gas tanks with different conditions (temperature, pressure and shaking on the ship). 2014/06 – 2015/04 - Research Technician with Alberta Innovates Technology Futures , HOOS group, Edmonton, Alberta. Involved in more than 4 projects over the 11 months. Assisted senior researchers in collecting samples of oil sand and scanning them with transmission electron microscope. Using Matlab and ImageJ to segment the void and particles for the CT-scan images. Built simulation models from various oil-sand CT scans for the in-lab and semi-field oil-sand samples using sfotware Avizo and Solidworks. Worked with researchers to perform stress analysis of the oil-sand model with different types of program.
Current research areas : Functional feature modeling and optimization for an oil production related tool.
