Career Fairs
Career fairs are a great way to connect and network with a variety of organizations and employers. Meet with employers from different fields and industries at Careers Day and the Spring Hiring Fair, or with schools and school boards from across Canada and around the world at the Education Career Fair!
This year, we are excited to introduce the Healthcare Industry Career Fair, where employers from both the public and private sectors will look for talent across various functions. Students and graduates in Health Sciences, as well as those from other faculties and programs interested in exploring career opportunities in this industry, are invited to come and meet with potential employers.
Career fairs are a great opportunity to interact with a large number of employers on the same day. You will be able to:
- Build your network of professional contacts.
- Explore your career options and how you can put your degree to work.
- Discuss current and future work opportunities with a variety of organizations.
- Learn about the hiring process of your potential employers
2024-25 Career Fairs
The dates for this academic year are:
- Careers Day/Foire d’emploi bilingue *
- Wednesday, September 25, 2024, 12 - 4:30 p.m.
Target audience: All students and recent graduates. - Healthcare Industry Career Fair
- October 29, 2024, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Target audience: Students from various health sciences, medicine, pharmacy, dental, and science disciplines, as well as other students interested in the healthcare field. - Education Career Fair/Foire d’emploi en éducation *
- Wednesday, January 22, 2025, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Target audience: English & French education students - Spring Hiring Fair/Foire d'emploi du printemps *
- Tuesday, February 4, 2025, 12 - 4:30 p.m.
Target audience: All students and recent graduates.
* Bilingual fairs. We are inviting bilingual employers and students from all campuses to these events, including Francophone students from Campus Saint-Jean.
Careers Day, the Education Career Fair, and the Spring Hiring Fair will take place in the Butterdome at the Van Vliet Complex on the U of A North Campus.
The Healthcare Industry Career Fair will take place at the Edmonton Clinic Health Academy (ECHA) at North Campus, 87 Avenue and 114 Street.
Rapid Reviews
At Careers Day and the Spring Hiring Fair, chat with a career advisor for a free 10-minute review of your resume or LinkedIn profile. We’ll give you some quick tips and let you know if you’d benefit from an advising appointment, career coaching, or another program or service. Reviews will be done on a first-come, first-served basis. Stop by the Career Centre booth to learn more!

Bienvenue aux Foires d'emploi du Career Centre de l'Université de l'Alberta pour l'année 2024-25!
Les foires d'emploi sont une excellente occasion d'interagir avec différents employeurs de divers domaines et secteurs d’activité, le tout en une seule journée. Vous aurez la possibilité de :
- Élargir votre réseau de contacts professionnels.
- Explorer vos options de carrière et comment mettre à profit votre diplôme.
- Discuter des opportunités de travail actuelles et futures avec diverses organisations.
Cette année, la Foire d’emploi bilingue, la Foire d'emploi en éducation et la Foire d'emploi du printemps seront des événements bilingues, accueillant des employeurs et des membres la communauté étudiante bilingues de tous les campus, y compris les étudiantes et étudiants francophones du Campus Saint-Jean.
Voici les dates des foires d’emploi pour l'année universitaire 2024-25 :
- Foire d'emploi bilingue
- 25 septembre 2024, de 12 h à 16 h 30
Public cible : Toute la communauté étudiante et récemment diplômée - Foire d'emploi en éducation
- 22 janvier 2025, de 11 h à 15 h
Public cible : Communauté étudiante en éducation anglophone et francophone - Foire d'emploi du printemps
- 4 février 2025, de 12 h à 16 h 30
Public cible : Toute la communauté étudiante et récemment diplômée
La Foire d’emploi bilingue, la Foire d’emploi en éducation et la Foire d'emploi du printemps auront lieu dans le Butterdome au Van Vliet Complex sur le Campus Nord de l’Université de l’Alberta.
