Return flights to and from Edmonton, for all participants are provided for their participation in the National Japanese Speech Contest. The Japan Centre will book flights for you so that you will arrive in Edmonton on Friday night before the contest .If, for some reason, you would rather arrive in Edmonton on Saturday morning please let us know.

To arrange your travel to Edmonton, please contact the Prince Takamado Japan Centre to inform them of your departure cities, and preferred travel times at ptjc@ualberta.ca or 780-492-1569. The Japan Centre will take care of all travel arrangements.

As noted above the Japan Centre will book flights for all participants to arrive on Friday, March 28th and to depart Edmonton on Sunday, March 30th. If you prefer to arrive on Saturday morning, please let us know as soon as possible (ptjc@ualberta.ca). The contest will commence at 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 29th.

Participants are responsible for any cost arising from a deviating travel plan (e.g. additional night at the hotel, higher airfare, etc.). Also any necessary arrangements for such deviation must be made by the participant himself/herself.
