Objective:

To recognize outstanding research in pharmaceutical sciences, particularly on the role of lipids in drug delivery.

Award:

A plaque, $2,500.00 (which includes travel expenses and registration) to attend the annual meeting of CSPS).

The Winner:

The best poster presented at the CSPS symposium judged by the Selection Committee for scientific merit, discovery, innovation, and contribution. Preference will be given to research addressing the role of lipids in drug delivery.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidate must be a member of the Society and be able to attend the symposium to present their work.

• Candidates may be graduate students, post graduate, post doctoral fellows, and/or scientists working in industry, government, academia, or research institutes.

• Evidence or reference letters attesting that the research was conducted in Canada must be presented.

• The format of the poster presentation must meet the criteria set by CSPS.

The award is to be presented at the CSPS 9th Annual Symposium, May 24 - 27, 2006, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The abstract must be submitted to CSPS by Friday, February 17th, 2006, along with reference letters, confirming the eligibility criteria.
