The Golden Bearristers Rugby Club is the Faculty of Law’s largest sports team.  Dating back to 1994, the Bearristers symbolize hard work, camaraderie, and a commitment to one another.

The Bearristers are fully committed to pursuing excellence while maintaining a positive role within the Faculty.

The club allows everyone the opportunity to join, and all members are rewarded with actual playing time.

Perhaps above all, the Golden Bearristers Rugby Club not only allows members of the Faculty the opportunity to join a club but also facilitates networking with both past and future players.

Our season consists of two major events, the Western Canadian Law Rugby Championship, and the Annual Alumni Game. This year the Alumni Game will take place at the Norwesters Rugby Club on Saturday, October 17.

The Western Canadian Law Rugby Championship will take place in Vancouver on October 24.
