WebBoard

The WebBoard conferencing system is restricted to students registered in EDEL 595. You will need a frames capable browser like Netscape Navigator 4.x or higher or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.x to access the Course WebBoard. You must also insure that your browser is configured to accept cookies. The WebBoard uses cookies to record and store your personal profile. If you reject cookies you will not be able to logon onto the system.

To access the conference system click on the icon.

A welcome screen will ask you for your Name and Password.

  • If you have not already done so click on "New User" and create a personalized profile. When you fill out the "New User Information" form you must use the same name that you are registered under. If you use a nickname or alias you will not receive your Issues and Help participation mark. Remember to record your login name and password.
  • If you have created a profile provide your Name and Password to enter the WebBoard.

READ the online help and pay very close attention to the section on conferences, topics and messages. You are required to start a Topic discussion in the Issues Conference so make sure that you know the difference between a "Topic" and an "Message" (the online help has an excellent explanation on conferences, topics and messages).
