Life in the Inner City of Edmonton

Saturday January 12 - 5 pm.

THis is an event to deepen our understanding, break stereotypes and perhaps challenge assumptions we may have about who is homeless and what it's like to be homeless in Edmonton.

We will meet at Tim Hortons on campus for a brief introduction at 12 noon and then go downtown for walk through inner city of Edmonton with Peter Janz (who works at the Hope Mission). We will be learning about what life is like for people who are homeless and what resources are available to them in the inner city.

Dress warmly we will be out of doors for about 3 hours. Please contact the chaplaincy office if you are interested in being part of this event.
