Coming off a Canada West silver medal and their second-consecutive trip to the U SPORTS National Championship, the Golden Bears Basketball program has announced their recruiting and freshman class for the upcoming season.

Six first-year Golden Bears will join the club for the 2018/19 Canada West season, while a pair of red-shirt freshman will also see action for Barnaby Craddock's squad. The unveiling of the talented first-year class is combined with the return of Canada West and U SPORTS all-star forward Brody Clarke, former all-rookie team member Andre Kelly, as well as third-year forward Cole Knudsen and fourth-year guards Dwan Williams and Ivan Ikomey

The Golden Bears open their season with the annual Golden Bears Invitational on October 19th, followed by the Canada West opener on October 25th at Saville Community Sorts Centre.
