With only one graduating student-athlete leaving the program this summer, the Pandas Basketball program has added to their already young and talented roster with three recruits.
Claire Signatovich, Sydney Fedick, and Julia Strigl will all join the team for the upcoming 2019/20 varsity season. All three join the Pandas with provincial team experience, and were multiple-time all-stars in high school.
"I'm thrilled to have each of these three talented athletes join or program for next season." said Pandas head coach Scott Edwards. "I'm looking forward to seeing how their Panda careers develop!"
The Pandas have amassed a 43-17 record over the past three seasons, and are aiming for their first trip to nationals since 2016.

Scott Edwards: "Claire is an excellent player and we are thrilled she has chosen to join us here at the U of A. She has the size, skill set and drive to become an exceptional university player. She has grown so much as a player over the past few years, and I’d like to thank Coach Brown and the entire development program in Manitoba for the work they have done.
