It's only September, but already we've experienced the full range of what Alberta has to offer in the weather department - from sun to snow to the green and golds of fall! And through it all, the U of A community has remained vibrant and eager to get the school year going.

Welcoming New Students

These sessions included making dreamcatchers with the Augustana Aboriginal Student's Office, practicing yoga (which is offered through campus recreation), attending an informational session on how to deal with new roommates, and more! | Images courtesy of Tia Lalani.

A Day of Service

Their activities out in the community included the Roots for Trees planting event, where about 250 students planted over 1800 trees near Fulton Drive. Other placements took place at the Green and Gold Garden, Edmonton Organic Growers Guild, Zoe's Animal Rescue, iHuman, and the Boys and Girls club.
