This week we recap the accolades and achievements from December, including U of A athletes who set new university records, the return of Chillin' for Charity, and more!

Congratulations to the following:

Christina Hoang - won the On-Campus Community Inclusion Award.

Devin Phillips - finalist for the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology Annual Meeting Graduate Student Oral Presentation Award.

JDC West - raised $17,694 at this year's Chillin' for Charity event.

Kory White - broke her own record with 33 kills in the U of A's win over Thompson Rivers.

Leanne Yang - received the Claudette J de Bruijn Co-op Student of the Year Award.

Laurie Eisler - became the first University of Alberta Coach to reach 800 career wins.

Rob McMahon - received the Meheroo Jussawalla Research Award for the best participant research paper submitted to the PTC Annual Conference.

Ryan (Yunwei) Li and Venkata Dinavahi - named Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Fellows.

School of Business MBA Team - finished 3rd at the DeGroote Case Competition.

Valerie Carson -named one of Web of Science Group's Highly Cited Researchers.

Vanessa Wild - broke a 40-year-old record by scoring 39 points in the U of A's win over Mount Royal University.

Victoria Meah - won the Women & Children's Health Research Institute Research Day Oral Presentation Award.

Yeong-Bae Kim - received the Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation of Edmonton scholarship.
