What is your first U of A memory?

I have two aunts that are both alumni at the U of A. I remember back in junior high they took me here to try and find their class photo in the Business Building.

What’s something your coworkers don’t know about you?

I have a weird obsession with Batman. I’ve collected about 20 different Batman Funko Pop Figures.

What’s your favourite distraction?

Playing hockey, I took up the sport in my last year of University back in 2017 and I’ve been playing rec hockey ever since.

If you were enrolling in one course, program or degree right now, what would it be?

When I first applied to the U of A, I was in the Faculty of ALES majoring in Animal Science. I would like to explore that route again if given the opportunity.

You can invite anyone — alive or dead, real or fictional — to dinner. Who would it be?

Batman. It’d be interesting conversing with someone that uses their wits and physical prowess to defeat villains who were seemingly larger than life.

If you could see any live performance tomorrow, what would it be?

Coldplay in Japan… that’s because I love Coldplay and I love Japan!

What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?

Travel more when given the opportunity, explore the world!

What’s one thing you can’t live without?

Sushi, if I had to choose one thing to eat for the rest of my life… sushi would be it!

What three words describe your U of A experience?

Diverse, opportunity and growth.

Do you have any upcoming projects or initiatives you are looking forward to at work?

I’m currently working on the plans for Upper-Year residence recruitment events, I can’t wait to showcase the amazing spaces we have to offer!
