Funding secured for the most advanced robot arm to be used in echocardiography research

Drs Pierre Boulanger and Harald Becher have been awarded NSERC RTI funding for the most advanced robot arm to be used in echocardiography. The research strategy emphasizes how semi-autonomous robotics can improve cardiac ultrasound imaging and at the same time improve the work efficiency of sonographers.
