Trainees

Trainee Opportunities

The Alberta Diabetes Institute offers Trainees (undergraduate, graduate and postdoctoral fellows) a rich and unique environment for developing research skills and pursuing novel research in their fields. Trainees can expand their horizons with ongoing interaction between basic scientists, clinical scientists, and/or community health researchers. The ADI offers our Trainees the opportunity to partipate and help organize the annual ADI Research Day, collaborate with fellow trainees via the ADI Trainee Working Group, and numerous funding opportunties.

The Alberta Diabetes Institute is a cross-disciplinary research Institute with members from multiple faculties and departments at the University of Alberta, University of Calgary, and Athabasca University. All members are involved in areas of diabetes research.
