Biochemistry faculty members advancing AI research at the U of A and abroad

Drs. Joanne Lemieux and Olivier Julien were interviewed for their perspective on the ground breaking Memorandum of Understanding between the U of A and UCSF to advance disease research using AI

The University of Alberta and the University of California San Francisco have agreed to collaborate on advancing AI-driven biomedical innovations, starting with complex neurological conditions. 

Many people will be involved in this project, including two Department of Biochemistry faculty members. Drs. Joanne Lemieux and Olivier Julien will play important roles in bringing this partnership to fruition.
