Eligibility

  • Academic Performance (minimum grade point average of 3.5)
  • Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences - thesis-based graduate degree program or a post-doctoral program
  • Nominee can be an incoming or continuing student
  • Nominee must be studying the phenomenon of turbulence
  • Awarded on the basis of academic performance and/or publication record
  • If no suitable nominee is found at the time of selection, the scholarship will not be awarded that year
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
