Eligibility

  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Area of Study in Energy
  • Must be registered in an MBA program
  • Preference given to students interested in clean energy or energy alternatives as demonstrated through registration in SEM 601- Innovation and sustainability: The CleanTech Revolution and or SEM 638 Corporate Sustainability
  • Selection based on academic achievement
  • Selection based on demonstrated career interest in the energy industry or energy policy. Awarded with consideration also given to leadership qualities demonstrated through involvement in extracurricular and community activities.
  • Financial need may be taken into consideration
  • Recipients must not hold another award or scholarship valued at $15000 or greater during the tenure of this award.
  • Open to Canadian citizens
  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in masters programs
  • Open to full time and part time registered students

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
