Eligibility

  • Superior Academic Achievement
  • Must be registered full time in a thesis-based graduate degree program at Faculté Saint-Jean
  • Based on academic achievement
  • Recipients must have an Admission Grade Point Average (AGPA) of 3.5 or higher
  • For students reapplying a second time (or more), the requirement would be that they must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.7 and must not have been in their program for more than three years.

  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs

How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision. 

Eligible students must submit the following documents (in French) to their department at csjsup@ualberta.ca before the deadline indicated on the department's website:
