Eligibility
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to full-time registered students only.
- Registered FT in a graduate degree in the Department of Biological Sciences with a research focus in Biosystematics.
- Selection based on Satisfactory academic standing.
- Based on research excellence.
- Selection is based on academic excellence.
- Preference given first to students with demonstrated interest in the field of insect systematics.
- Preference give secondly to students with a demonstrated interest in evolutionary biology.
- Demonstrated interest is to be shown by participation in advanced courses and
- or research in the area.
How to apply
By Nomination Only: Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
